Molecular Immunological Approach to Shigellosis Vaccine Development
- This main aims of the projects are to identify MHC Class-I and MHC-Class-II associated peptides presented by macrophage during Shigella infection and to explore the immunomodulation roles of macrophage infected with Shigella. The projects will basically encompass a number of key molecular techniques including mammalian cell culture, PCR, ELISA, SDS-PAGE, Western blot, gene expression, bioinformatics analysis, etc.
- Malaysian citizen.
- Possess a recognized university degree with specialization in Life Science, Biology, Microbiology, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biomedical Science, Immunology, Pharmacy or other related disciplines.
